We’re looking for some enthusiastic Power Shifters to play a special role in our action.

Power Shift is all about making our voice heard: as young people we get climate change, we have a positive vision of the world we’re trying to create, and we’re ready to get started on the solutions. And over the years at AYCC we’ve learned that dancing is a pretty good way to get that message across.
Power Shift 2011 will be no exception. We’re going to take Brisbane by storm with a huge dancing flashmob right in the centre of the city. But that’s not all we’re going to do – this is going to be a flashmob with a twist!
This flashmob will start with a music video-style lip dub leading into the flashmob. It will be fun, upbeat, and it will tell the story of Power Shift – of young people coming together and taking action on climate change.
But to pull it off we need some help!
We’re looking for about 100 Power Shifters to be extras in our lip dub scene. You’ll be part of one of our film shoots during Saturday and Sunday before Monday’s big flashmob in the city. You don’t need any special skills and the shoots will all take place during breaks, so you won’t miss any sessions.
